Ah, this memories from 2011, I guess, it flashes back from the last time. Just this month actually.
So, an idea came in from my mind: What if because after almost 30 plus years (I can't compute it), they are never getting old, so there, I created my own idea of making them as young adults.

If Littlefoot and his Friends ever had children of their own and there was a threat to the Great Valley where the only way to save it was in the Mysterious Beyond, I Imagine that Littlefoot and friends would go with their children into the Mysterious Beyond, after all Littlefoot and the others went into the Mysterious Beyond many times before so they would be braver than their parents were and they would want to save the Great Valley they call home, also what better way to protect their children then Adult Littlefoot and others fighting against the Sharoteeth that inhabit the Great Valley acting as Escorts?
